At the right of the dial of this smartwatch, there are two buttons whereas the heart rate sensor is located below the dial. The straps of this watch are removable that means it has a customization option.
Decorated delicately and sweetly makes it different from its ancestors. The big difference in the design between Gear Fit2 Pro and its ancestors is that it has the buckle which was less seen in its ancestor.
The amazing connectivity option the watch has is Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-fi 802.11n. Wi-fi allows you to listen to your favorite songs and if you want to connect it with your earphones with Bluetooth you can also do that and listen to whatever you want maybe a song or a podcast.

As you know the first priority to buy the smartwatch is that it should be comfortability and have an attractive design.
So, for this purpose, I’ve researched for the cheap smartwatch which is comfortable to wear and have a lot of features that a fitness smartwatch has.
Yes, the Amazfit Verge, from the Huami.
The display screen is about 1.3inch with AMOLED display which makes it look like a traditional watch.
The shape of the dial is round which is very different from the fitness watch but when you look inside the watch then you’ll feel worth it. The best thing about this smartwatch is Alexa built-in.

Yes, it uses an advanced next-generation PPG for the purpose of detecting heartbeat more accurately throughout the day and this watch also keeps an eye on your general health.
It also tracks and monitors your sleep but this feature needs improvement because Amazfit keeps this feature very simple as it detects deep sleep, light sleep, awake time.
As this smartwatch tracks deep sleep very accurately but the ability to track light sleep is not much accurate as compared to other smartwatches by Amazfit.
Note that everyone who gets to sleep, he must be doing something such as wondering, reading a book or using the mobile this smartwatch will count this time as sleeping time.
Wait, wait, wait, I personally suggest you while you are going to bed for sleep don’t use the mobile instead read some book or a novel. As it will improve your knowledge.
However, as I said that this feature needs improvement, on the other hand, this features can track your sleep habit and also gives you the score of your sleep and suggests you by giving tips to improve your sleep.
As the fitness tracking feature in this smartwatch is impressive. Just like that, another feature that provides flexibility is the built-in GPS.
As you know, some smartwatches that comes under 200 dollars had a GPS system that gives the exact location but with some fluctuations such as loading time counts, mapping the exact location counts, and the first connection in a new area took some minutes to load but this smartwatch has broken all these fluctuations down.

7. Asus Zenwatch 2 – Smartwatch Under 200
Zenwatch 2 is an Android smartwatch that was released about 5 years ago, back on 9 November 2014.
Today’s Zenwatch 2 has an attractive design with an updated version of Android as compared to 2014’s model in two sizes.
I was researching on this smartwatch when I came to know that the price for the larger size of Zenwatch was also kept low about £149.99,
(the smaller one isn’t currently available in the UK.
According to trustedreviews, Asus has told them personally that they are looking into a possible launch depending on demand) and are offering buyers a choice of three different design styles, and 18 different straps.
Although the design of the two new models is the same as the 2014 model but is a little bit different from the thickness and length.
The dimensions of the previous model were about 51mm by 39.9mm. Whereas, the dimensions of the new larger model were 49.6mm by 40.7mm.
While the dimensions of the smaller model is 45.2mm by 37.2mm. The larger & the previous model was mostly disliked by women and the people who have smaller wrists and straps that won’t fit into their wrist.
So, Asus has made the smaller version of Zenwatch 2. The dial of the Zenwatch 2 new models has a rounded square shape which was the same as in the previous model.
Now, you might be thinking that I’ve told the dimensions, two models, and stats about the previous model but what about the weight.
Let me tell you.
The Zenwatch 2 both models are lightweight and you will feel very comfortable when you wear them on your wrist.
The larger model weighs about 0.07kg whereas, a smaller version weighs about 0.06kg perfect for women’s wrist.
Asus has done a very good job by upgrading this Zenwatch 2. Now, if you have previously used this Zenwatch 2 and you were facing some issues while wearing so don’t worry because Asus has fixed all those previous issues.
The metal that is used to design this Zenwatch is stainless and is of high quality and comes in multiple variations of colors such as; rose gold, silver, gunmetal.
Also, the straps gives you the extra customization option. Mostly, they are made up of different materials and come in different sizes that are between 18mm to 22mm.
The design of Zenwatch 2 looks like an Apple watch. And, let me tell you the cool thing about this watch that Asus has provided the value to the people by designing such a high-quality and premium design at such an affordable price.
So, anyone can easily purchase this smartwatch.
The larger model display features a 1.63inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 320 by 320.
On the other hand, the smaller model display is about 1.45inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 280 by 280.
Asus has added the features that were not present in the previous model and improved the user experience by adding a bio and a 9-axis sensor.
However, the heart-rate monitoring feature is missing but it still has the ability to track your steps, calories burnt and how much distance you’ve traveled.
Not only that, but there are also many other things that Zenwatch is equipped with. Such as the authority to connect with Wi-Fi is new and if your watch is not connected with the phone still you can receive notification and allow it to update.
For health tracking, you can use the ASUS ZenFit app or Google fit in this smartwatch.
Under normal usage such as if you’re using your Zenwatch 2 as a music controller, sending replies to messages, or checking the smart notification.
It would probably last up to 2 to 3 days easily. That’s a quite decent battery although it does not have a long-lasting battery, it has a good battery life.
The larger version has 400mAh battery power whereas the smaller version has 300mAh battery power.
Overall, Asus Zenwatch 2 smartwatch whose price is under 200 dollars is competing with expensive smartwatches in the market in terms of hardware and performance.

Smartwatches Buyer’s Guide:
Are you here to read the smartwatch buyer’s guide?
Do you know what a smartwatch is?
The words “smart” and “watch” are two words that are combined by looking at the features of what a watch can do to become a smartwatch.
Let me explain to you with an example of mobile phones. Back when mobiles were developed, they were completely different from today’s mobile.
Today, we don’t simply call them a mobile we usually call them a smartphone.
Basically, a smartwatch is a mobile extension that you wear on your wrist. It gives you the ability to read/write text messages, receive a smart notification, social media updates, receive phone calls without using your phone.
But there are some smartwatches that have built-in cellular connectivity which allows you to make calls, you can stream online.
A lot of technology-based sensors are pre-installed. Some sensors are made to keep track of your health such as heart-rate monitor, barometer, accelerometer while other sensors are made to track your physical activity.
Now, the ability to buy something online from just right your wristwatch is common as many smartwatches now include this feature.
The Rise Of Smartwatches
Did you know that when did the rise of the smartwatch begin?
Let me tell you.
Let’s start this by asking you the question: what is a digital watch?
Back in the 2000s, some watches came up with unit converters and some with calculators are called the digital watches.
That was the time when this field was doing different experiments to make more advanced features in a watch.
Many companies were trying to make a unique watch that was never seen before. But someone has to take the first step and raise his hand in the crowd and show it to the world that he has a unique smartwatch.
So, the credit goes to the great Pebble for introducing modern smartwatch.
Back in 2010, Pebble started a campaign to collect funds for his idea of the modern smartwatch and was successful in raising the fund.
According to Wikipedia, the total units that sold were 2,000,000+ as of December 2017.
On the other hand, the technology of designing smaller silicon chips has helped other companies to make smartwatch for specific purposes.
Examples are Fenix by Garmin, featuring a lot of sensors and trackers geared for expeditions in the countryside. The design is more rugged than your average smartwatch.
Types of Smartwatches
There are two types of smartwatch present in the world:
- Special-purpose smartwatch
- General-purpose smartwatch
As you can guess by the name that special-purpose smartwatches are those which are made for some special task.
The special-purpose smartwatches are used to perform specific tasks such as swimming, hiking, fitness.
For swimming purposes, you can buy Descent MK1 that indicates things like temperature, time remaining, and the depth of water.
For hiking purposes, you can buy Garmin Instinct that includes GPS, compass, fitness tracker, weather forecasting, and last but not the least long battery life.
They are also durable and resistant to dust and water.
On the other hand, we have a general-purpose smartwatch that is also called the extension to your smartphone.
You can control many features of your smartphone just right from your wrist such as Wear OS and Watch OS devices. These smartwatches are highly dependent on your smartphone.

Most smartwatch comes with the built-in GPS and some probably don’t have. Manufacturers kept an eye on both types of people i.e. one that finds GPS useful and others that don’t need GPS.
So that’s why both types of smartwatches came into the market.
But, I personally love the GPS functionality as it helps you find any location easily and if you love to keep yourself fit then you’ll find built-in GPS very useful because it helps you track your real-time location.
Also, it keeps guiding you if you’re visiting any new location.
Smartwatch doesn’t allow all the apps such as games just because a smartwatch is made for some special -purpose and special -purpose smartwatch only allows apps that help them to achieve their purpose and block other apps.
Did you know which ecosystem does smartwatch uses?

The term fitness relates to your health. The heart rate monitoring sensor is also part of the fitness tracker.

Back in the 2000s, when we were young and we used to see in the cartoons or in the comics that a detective uses his watch just like it has a cellphone.

6 Key Features To Keep In Mind While Buying Smartwatch Under 200 Dollars:
A comfortable smartwatch should be the first priority. Many smartwatches that are comfortable are present in the market. Although the smartwatches are getting smarter day by day still you have to see carefully that your smartwatch should be comfortable.
Make sure to think about the features you want before buying. For example, if you are a sports lover or very sensitive towards your health then you should check the smartwatches such as heart-rate monitor, accelerometer, barometer, and etc related to your intent because that will help you achieve your goal.
Checking the charging pattern will help you in the future. Most smartwatches are charged by the dock, some are charged by cables, and some uses wireless chargers. So, make sure to check this factor too.
Should check whether the smartwatch is water-resistant or not. As it will help you keep your watch safe from water and keep you tension from taking off while swimming or taking a shower.
In every device, whether it’s a hoverboard, laptop or a smartwatch battery life is the most important point to check. Some smartwatches tend to go even for weeks and some even go for about a month. But, I suggest you buy a smartwatch which has a battery life for more than 2 days.
It makes you comfortable for two days and after two days you can charge at night while in the morning you can wear again and enjoy the cool features of your smartwatch.
If your smartwatch is not compatible with any device then there is some bad news. Because the smartwatch is also called an extension to your smartphone. And if you have an extension to something but it’s not working then there is no use of such an extension.
So, make sure that your smartwatch should be compatible with your smartphone.
